The Swinging 60’s Night of Entertainment

Sunday 4th to Monday 5th June, 2017

£99 per person

Take a trip down memory lane on this 1960’s themed adventure in the Midlands. This short break is perfect to get away from the busy lifestyle and unwind with opportunities to explore, do some sightseeing and enjoy a night of entertainment like no other. The evening includes a three course dinner followed by tea or coffee and will be filled with 1960’s nostalgia and songs by the talented entertainment duo. The show features a variety of songs from the Swinging 60’s where you will be able to listen, sing along or get up to rock’n roll. Take part in the 1960’s party game of ‘Name That Tune’ and try your luck to win a prize for an optional “1960’s Best Dressed” competition.

We depart Crymych and head for the Midlands in the morning. Free time will be available at Stratford Upon Avon en-route where there will be opportunity for you to explore the history of the medieval market town, and the birthplace of William Shakespeare. You may decide to explore the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, or you could wonder around Anne Hathaway’s Cottage & Gardens, or even take a stroll by the canal to just walk and amble along the banks, watching the boats. We will arrange to meet before making the rest of the journey to the wonderful setting of the Mercure hotel, ready for the 1960’s themed evening show.

We depart after breakfast for our journey home, stopping at Gloucester Quays en-route. Here you will have some free time to do some shopping in the various shops, or learn about the exciting history and heritage of the city.

We will be spending the night at the stylish and modern 4 star Mercure Hotel, Daventry. The hotel boasts lovely grounds and inner courtyard in a Saxon market town surrounded by beautiful views and greenery. This hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing break that offers both a town and country experience.
